I would have preferred a detailed explanation about the fault, why it could have occurred and if I should expect it again in the future, and if so what I should look out for - I am now a bit cautious driving any distance.
On the day of repair your team were all very good at their respective jobs.

Easy to book my car in and video of work done.
Car was serviced promptly and I was kept informed of when car would be ready to collect. Also given options for when car was in for service, eg courtesy car, lift to town, breakfast vouchers etc. Also car fully valeted.

Work was done as expected. I am disappointed with the follow up associated with damaged locking wheel bolts.Only one call since and my wife is still driving with the locking wheel bolts not fully torqued up. Cost of BMW reputation versus new bolts??

New X3 booked to change summer wheels to new winter wheels. Delivered at 10.00am and advised to return at 2.00pm.Returned at 2.00pm but car not until 4.40pm, with no explanation on delay. Used BMW Leicester previously, task normally took 1 hr not 6
It was recommended that one of my tyres be replaced due to a small bulge in the tyre wall. As there was no run flat tyre in stock at the garage, they wanted to keep my car overnight. However, there was no courtesy car available until later that day.

Car repair carried out on time and to my complete satisfaction.
Grassicks determined steering column had to be replaced. Brought car back in again and after 1.5 hours of waiting for the repair I was informed it was the wrong part. It is taking 10 days to order and the car will to be brought back in again. V poor!

I had an emergency situation and drove in off the motorway. I was given coffee, water and biscuits for my dog, a walk route for th dog. When the problem was identified, I was given a brand new courtesy car for the weekend.

Took one month to get a new clutch. Had to send to Germany for it. Garage showed little interest in communicating with me. I had to do all the chasing up.

Their showroom is going through a remodel and there wasn't much space to have a look at the cars in great depth, but I'm sure it'll be fantastic when it's finished.
Still a couple of problems to be sorted
Kept waiting for 20 minutes from appointment time before being taken. Showroom dusty and cold, due to renovation work in progress. Whole process took around 2.5 hours; kept waiting in this environment until complaining led to move to warmer location.
